NCRS Metro Long Island Chapter

Welcome to the Metro-Long Island Chapter of National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS), which represents over 15,000 Corvette people throughout the nation and across the globe. We meet to enjoy our favorite car, share experiences, and learn about the development and production of the Corvette. You can learn more about NCRS at www.ncrs.org.

The Metro Long Island Chapter was founded in October 1992 by Vinnie Peters (current Editor of the award winning NCRS publication, The Corvette Restorer), and is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of America's Sportscar here on Long Island. We embrace all six generations of the car, and we Flight Judge the first four. If you're new to NCRS, you may be surprised to learn that cars are not judged against each other. They are, instead, judged against a standard that reflects the condition and components of the car as it was delivered from the factory to its original purchaser.

Our Chapter conducts two Flight Judging Meets each year, along with multiple Judging Schools and Technical Sessions. We also sponsor an annual fund-raising cruise for charity, and host a fantastic Holiday party. You are welcome to visit our EVENTS page for details of this year's activitites.
